Certificate description

OEKO-TEX 100
The OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a global textile safety standard that provides consumers with a reliable textile safety label. The certification system mainly tests whether textile raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products and accessories contain substances harmful to the human body, such as fabrics, textile products, buttons, zippers and so on.
For fabrics, the role of OEKO-TEX 100 certification includes but is not limited to the following:

1. Safety guarantee : To ensure that the fabric is harmless to the human body, the test covers more than 300 harmful substances, including banned azo dyes, pesticides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), organotin compounds, phthalates, chlorinated phenols, etc.

2. Market competitiveness : Certified products can be used as a marketing tool to improve the market competitiveness of products, especially in the B2B field, as proof of compliance with delivery requirements.

3. Consumer trust : Consumers are increasingly inclined to buy textiles that have been certified for safety, and OEKO-TEX 100 certification helps build consumer trust in the product.

4. Compliance : Help fabric manufacturers comply with global regulatory requirements, such as REACH Appendix XVII, CPSIA, etc.

5. Risk Management : The certification process helps enterprises optimize risk management and implementation of social responsibility.

6. International visibility : Certified products and enterprises can improve their international visibility.

OEKO-TEX 100 certification needs to be tested and certified by official certification agencies, such as Heinstein. The certification is valid for one year and only applies to the product category tested. For suppliers, obtaining this certification is not only an affirmation of the quality of their products, but also an important condition for their products to enter the wider market.
